This page describes how information is handled when you use murdate.com, including the online answer-check form.

Email Addresses

When you submit an answer through the Submit Your Answer form, we use your email address to send you the result. That address is not kept as a long-term record unless you separately join the mailing list.

If you sign up for the mailing list on the homepage, we store your email address so Elena can contact you about future MURDATE cases and new volumes. The list is kept in our hosting provider’s storage until you unsubscribe. We do not sell or share addresses for unrelated advertising.

Email delivery is handled by our email provider, which processes your address only to deliver the relevant message. To stop receiving MURDATE updates, use the unsubscribe link included in any email or contact elena@murdate.com.

Other Data

Our hosting provider receives standard technical information when the website is accessed, including IP addresses and request timestamps. This information is processed only to keep the website working, secure, and protected from misuse.

Cookies

MURDATE does not use cookies for advertising. Our hosting or analytics providers may still use cookies or similar technologies required for normal website operation.

Children

MURDATE is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
