Does the book include the solution?
The solution is not printed in the book. When you believe you have found the murder date, submit it through the Submit Your Answer page to see if you are correct.
What date format should I use?
Follow the format printed in your book: MM/DD/YYYY in English and DD/MM/YYYY in Spanish.

How do I submit my answer?
Open the Submit Your Answer page, select the murder date you found, and submit your answer.
How long will it take to receive a response?
Your answer will be checked and the result returned within 30 minutes.
What happens if my answer is wrong?
The correct date will not be revealed. Review the clues, check your eliminations, and try again.
How often can I submit an answer?
You can submit one answer every four hours.
What should I do if my book is damaged or has missing pages?
Contact the retailer you purchased the book from for help with a replacement or refund.
Is the MURDATE case based on a true story?
No. The case, characters, and investigation are entirely fictional.
Can I share the solution online?
Please do not share the murder date or full clue solutions publicly. You are welcome to discuss the investigation, but keep any spoilers clearly hidden.
